(Another AV8RSTUFF Creation): VFA-122 flies the F/A-18E/F out of NAS Lemoore, CA as the West Coast Replacement Air Group (RAG). In order to be qualified for the "FLEET" (operational squadrons), the pilots must "Air-to-Air" qualify by going through the 'FIGHTER' curriculum at NAS KEY WEST, FL. This is the class' SQUADRON DET (left) SHOULDER patch that says "CONCH REPUBLIC" (top), has wings in the middle with a Conch Shell as the 'rating', and says "KEY WEST 22-50" (bottom). This patch DOES come with velcro attached.
