VF-211 'F-18/F-14/F-8' Patch (Yellow A/C)

The "Flying Checkmates" of VF-211 flew the F-14A Tomcat from NAS Oceana, VA. They trace their roots to VB-74, established in May 1945, but acquired their current designation in March 1959. They were TARPS capable and are based on the West-Coast ships. She is attached to CVW-9 aboard the USS Stennis (CVN-74). This is the "current historical" version of their squadron patch showing the F-18/F-14/F-8 aircraft in yellow. This patch does not come with velcro attached.
