The 'Aardvarks' flew the F-14A Tomcat out of NAS Miramar. This is the old version of their squadron patch from the Phantom era, showing crossed missiles and bombs behind a black mask and says "EXECUTIONERS" along the bottom. They transitioned from the Phantom to the Tomcat in December 1975, and made several West coast cruises paired with VF-213 before being decommissioned. This patch does not come with velcro attached
