It was designed and made in 1959 in Yokosuka, Japan. They were the VF-92 Det November deployed aboard USS Yorktown CVS-10. Four F2H-3M Banshees 6 Pilots and 40 crew. The Patch was making a statement as to how we felt we were being treated at that time.---VF-92 was transitioning to the F3H-2M Demon at NAS Alameda while the Deployment of Detachment November was on Yorktown in WestPac. That was the last deployment of the Banshee with an active duty squadron.
