They were the West Coast RAG (Training Squadron) that trained the pilots and RIOs for the F-14 Tomcat. They were decommissioned when all the CONUS Tomcat squadrons were moved to the Master Jet Base NAS Oceana. This is there last time patch. It has the date September 30, 1994 on it and says Last Time, Baby...! across the bottom.
