They were established in December 1973, and flew with CVW-1 onboard the USS America (CV-66) during the Persian Gulf War. This is the PLAT CAM LSO patch which being an USAF guy I have no idea what that means -- so if anyone knows please let me know. The patch looks like my other LSO patch, but shows a flying television in the middle and says, \"IT LOOKED GOOD TO ME\" across the top.
